A new and yet understated vegetable. The asparagus pea will grow almost anywhere, looks pretty in the vegetable and flower garden and crops abundantly over a long season. The unique angular pods are used whole at 2.5cm long and cooked quickly with a minimum of water and served with melted butter.l They compliment just about any dish.
When to sow:
From late winter to late summer or all year round in frost free areas.
