This fantastic, exotic a famous beauty is a splendid feature in formal flower arrangements as well as a wonderful feature plant for the garden. Strelizas are extremely hardy, tolerating temperatures as low as 8 degrees Celsius, they are also amazingly drought resistant and still grow equally as well in moist tropical gardens. Their orange and blue flowers are so remarkably formed that they truely resemble an exotic bird as their common name suggests.
