Developed at the University of New Mexico, Big Jim is the worlds longest hot pepper. Hot peppers or chillies are a treasure house of vitamins and minerals, high in vitamin A and C and a good source of B1, B2 and Niacin. Big Jim is especially high in vitamin C. Chilli also has antioxidant properties making it useful as a food preservative.
When to sow:
Spring and Summer, sub-tropical areas all year round.
