Swiss Chard Disco Mix is an award winning vegetable with brightly coloured stems including red, purple, pink gold, orange and white and pastel variations of these. Leaves are bronze or green and lightly savoyed. Baby leaves are ideal in a salad mix and mature leaves can be treated like spinach. The variations in colour produce subtle and interesting differences in taste with many producing a milder flavour to ordinary chard. This mix also offers unique bedding and ornamental possibilities for the garden or plate.
When to sow:
Almost all year round although it is best to avoid the very hot or the very frosty cold months.
