Description:
A large succulent fruit from the Marmande family. Grow these for their hint of pineapple flavour or just for a colourful quirky old fashioned fruit for salads or cooking.
When to sow:
Early crops can be started mid winter onwards but for eventual outdoor planting sow seeds some 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost in your area, then onwards periodically through the year.
