An excellent variety of gourmet mini cabbage for the home gardener. Small, dense, compact plants maturing in approximately 70 days into a 1kg head. Speedie should be sown and grown very close together (approximately 25 cm a part) thus taking us less space than larger varieties.

When to sow:

Spring and Autumn. In cold winter areas sow late Summer - early Autumn. The milder your winter the later sowing can be left. If you can give small plants frost protection, sowing can be delayed even further. In frost free areas sow right through winter.
