Description: Beta vulgaris
A mix of coloured Beetroot, white, gold, red and bulls eye in a variety of shapes and sizes. As a cooked vegetable, in salads or picked the flavour of home grown beetroot is superb.
When to sow:
In all mild, warm Winter areas. Sowing can start in July and continue through to Autumn. In colder areas August to late Summer. Tropical areas avoid sowing in December and January.
