Globe Artichoke Grand Beurre

A unique and delicious gourmet vegetable with a subtle, sweet and nutty flavour. One of the oldest foods known to man. They can be served as appetisers, on salads and as a main course. Grand Beurre quickly produces large plumb  heads with tightly clinging fleshy leave. Definitely one which is best picked fresh from the garden. 

When to sow:

From late Winter to Mid-Autumn. All year round in frost free areas.
